I refrain from making big changes to my page unless necessary to maintain its integrity.
Those who have been long time allies with me here on WP, may recall that I started my political posts on Patriot Action Network. [I previously mentioned having been suspended out of hand, for calling them out on platform issues, which prevented members from being able to make posts.]
Since then, with much “water under the bridge”, I finally tracked all the posts in my archives, saved the ones which I had reposted here, and deleted those which I had linked to but were no longer accessible. These can now be found under the menu category “PAN ARCHIVES”. They include posts which were formerly under either Rogue Government, or Big Brother.
They represent many allies I can no longer communicate with, as well as former administrators who have since departed. I have managed to keep in contact with a few of them, and they remain highly valued allies. Regardless of age, the contents remain as valid today, as when they first appeared.
My long time conservative ally, Cry and Howl is largely responsible for my “growing up” in the political arena. During 2008 I had established a political humor page on JibJab; the authors of that site had attained a large following on the MSM for their political potshots at politicians, presidential candidates, and the election process in particular.
I was fond of many others there, one participant, Jamesal, who has since vanished, had a unique ability for satirical humor, including a post I so much wish I had downloaded, called “Engrish”.
Others were just as adept; I for one, had always been one to check out the editorial page of the daily newspaper my folks subscribed to from the time I was six. The editorial page contained political cartoons; these were very worthy of the now subverted phrase “one picture is worth a thousand words”.
So JibJab became a convenient avenue to use satirical humor as a vent for many issues, both social, and political.
Then, in late summer, the tremors of what was to come started their rumbling. There was the emergence of an out of nowhere, glib, smooth talking, flim flam man, with a name that was enough to make me question our nations sanity – Barack Hussein Obama- that had won the Democratic nomination to run for the Presidency. Who was this person with a name that reeked of Islam? How in hell had he been able to be vetted for this office? Where had he come from? Why were folks so eager to eat up all the lofty promises he was making?
He was shrewd; convincing so many with no past to speak of. Then there was trouble on Wall street… A domino effect (thank you greedy bastards) caused several big banks to start toppling, and Government stepped in “because they were too big to fail”. After the fact, it turned out the watchdog for things financial had tried to warn the administration of obscure goings on at Wall Street, and was told by Mr. Greenspan to shut up! That they knew what they were doing, and stocks were doing well.
When December arrived, we had (my opinion) committed national suicide. Obama had attained our nations highest office. The crash that autumn had devastated the nation financially; I made my first Political video in response to the Wall Street shenanigans.
Expose – The Wall St Shuffle was uploaded directly to PAN. I just now took a chance and uploaded it to YouTube as “private” with a new title, so as to share it here.

We learned nothing from 2008. There are more toxic derivatives out there than before. We can’t take more liberal financial policies. This is a reminder of what happened. Beware a repeat of the 2008 debacle!
I found myself stuck in a subsistence paying job which had me juggling my meager finances just to keep myself off the street.
Angry isn’t even the proper word for my mindset. However, it is the only acceptable (non swearing) term I can use. I became allied with Patriot Action Network; they seemed to be a legitimate venue to speak out against a suicidal course America had welcomed with open arms.
Patriot Action Network was lead by Darla DaWald, a big part Resistnet, and Grassfire, of the Tea Party movement. Here is an old video, with her speech at 2:08:45:
April 15, 2010
Online Tax Revolt Rally Tea Party supporters gathered for a rally on the deadline for income tax filing to advocate lower taxes, smaller government, and protest Obama administration policies.
This was still before we came to realize that both parties were entirely corrupt, and politicians were only interested in hold onto the power they had amassed. [Can you say Congress, and John Boehner the head steer?]
But trouble never rests… PAN decided they had outgrown their site, and endeavored to set up new digs; with a fast looming deadline for members to transfer their posts etc. before the old site was abandoned. The new site was a logistical nightmare; trying to get set up I found that little if anything worked properly. The platform was modeled after WordPress, but the dashboard was untenable. In desperation, I checked out WP, selected a theme, and with no little effort, managed to salvage a small portion of my efforts at PAN. For some time, I ignored PAN altogether, making WP my political voice.
Much later, (PAN having remained at the old site) I resumed activity there. I had accumulated many allies, and had made use of YouTube to post Political Satire Videos -thanks to many great political cartoonists- from Townhall.com. Then, more rumblings…
Unknown to me, there was some nasty dissension within the ranks. Darla, who had done so much for PAN was replaced; moreover, they had -again- decided to “upgrade”, with the result causing many roadblocks in simply attempting to make a post. I called them out on this, stating that I wasn’t going to make any more contributions until “they got serious”… the end result was being unceremoniously suspended from PAN, losing all my posts, and allies I had been connected to.
So here we are, many years later, with the most crucial election in our history just around the corner. I am older, sadder, and just as fed up as I ever was.
