UN Security Council 1

by, Abayomi Azikiwe | Global Research

Militarization of the waterways between Europe and the oppressed nations cannot halt migrations

A further militarization in the Mediterranean has been approved through a resolution within the United Nations Security Council passed on October 9. Millions of people have been dislocated throughout Africa, the Middle East and Asia which has created the worse refugee crisis since the conclusion of World War II.

A vote by the Security Council of 14 to 1 empowers European Union (EU) Naval forces to purportedly halt and turn back vessels that are transporting migrants across the Mediterranean into Southern Europe. Only the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela abstained in the decision.

This renewed effort is called “Operation Sophia” consisting of six naval war ships from the EU in constant patrols off the coast of Libya. These vessels have been given the ability to halt, seize, detain and destroy boats utilized…

DMV has their own censors when applying for a “Vanity plate”; but this is sooo funny.  In a brief conversation with a fellow who spent some thirty plus years as a policeman, (originally from Wisconsin), the subject matter turned to -shall we say- less then stellar drivers. He owns a rather nice dually, a Dodge ram, white, with metallic blue side panels. He mentioned that he “does get some respect on freeways”; and “Did I see his license plate?”

I looked at the plate, not a vanity one that requires an annual fee to have, but issued by the DMV.  It read: 408-NRA.

Just “NRA” would have been humorous, but 408?!   You can’t make this stuff up!  For those unfamiliar with this number, it can refer to either the rifle, or the specialized cartridge that is employed.  LMAO – X

See here for the rifle, here for the cartridge.

Glad JCscuba watches IFL. Reposted from his page:

crew-22312It’s clear that Joe Dan has made up his mind about Donald Trump.

He clearly believes Trump can turn America around and he may be right.

He also likes Dr. Ben Carson and believes him to be getting trashed by the media because he is a black conservative.

0046The best one liner in the show, ” Tonight 60 Minutes, an investigative news show, looks into how they can go seven years without looking into a single Obama scandal.”

As we get closer to the actual primary voting which begins in February… the GOPe (GOP establishment) and Screen-Shot-2015-10-11-at-7.26.53-PM-300x227their partners in the media are becoming more and more shrill…. and more and more desperate.

Their plans to nominate Jeb have been obliterated by the self-funding real estate developer…and a neurosurgeon from the Ghetto.

Month after month, the media keeps swinging at Trump but they keep missing him, so now they’ve turned their attention on Dr. Carson.

And Dr. Carson is not curling up into a fetal position either…(like the NAACP does).

The president of the Sierra Club (that far left, heavily funded environmental whacko group) went to Capitol Hill to testify on behalf of the EPA’s climate regulations…. when unbeknownst to him, a Ted Cruz missile had him targeted. BOOM.

Ted Nugent told a great story about a muslim bookstore… I think you’ll like it.

When Donald Trump first announced — you may recall I said we should ‘pretend to be for Trump to put pressure on the GOP’…. well, I retract that statement, and issue another.

I now believe Donald Trump, a world class, no-nonsense businessman, is the best possible candidate we could have at this critical point in our history.

Thank you for sharing IFL with your friends…AND enemies.

War is war. A last resort when other methods of resolution fail.  The carrion birds in government need to get the hell out of micromanaging the military.

Full prosecution, and unconditional surrender, when going to war has been decided -as in WWII- not hamstringing our troops.  The entire Regime is guilty of subversion, and other treasonable acts; (see The Worst Cancer – Government Islamics   Exposed: Muslim Recruiting Station on Lackland Air Force Base, TX)  but I was not aware of the exact extent of these egregious “rules of engagement”.   X.  CLICK ON LINK:

crew-22312 In conducting war using rules of engagement from the Geneva Conventions is complete and utter folly.Where in said rules does it call for maiming, slitting the throats of infidels, and hanging homosexuals.Following said rules would be akin to bringing on suicide.Commanders in the field following such rules would have been fragged.

The term fragging was coined by military personnel of the United States during the Vietnam War. Fragging is the assassination or attempted assassination by a soldier of a fellow soldier, usually a superior officer or non-commissioned officer. Initially, the killings were most often attempted with a fragmentation grenade, sometimes making it seem as though the killing was accidental or during combat with the enemy.

War is nasty, brutal and costly. In our latest wars, many of the casualties suffered by American troops are a direct result of their having to obey rules of engagement created by politicians who have never set foot on,or even seen, a battlefield. Today’s battlefield commanders must be alert to the media and do-gooders who are all too ready to demonize troops involved in a battle that produces non combatant deaths, so-called collateral damage.

According to a Western Journalism article by Leigh H Bravo, “Insanity: The Rules of Engagement” our troops fighting in Afghanistan cannot do night or surprise searches. Also, villagers must be warned prior to searches.

Troops may not fire at the enemy unless fired upon. U.S. forces cannot engage the enemy if civilians are present. And only women can search women.

Retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney said: “We handcuffed our troops in combat needlessly.

“This was very harmful to our men and has never been done in U.S combat operations that I know of.”

Collateral damage and the unintentional killing of civilians are a consequence of war. But the question we should ask is: Are our troops’ lives less important than the inevitable collateral damage?

The unnecessary loss of life and casualties that result from politically correct rules of engagement are about to be magnified in future conflicts by mindless efforts to put women in combat units.

In 2013, then-Defense Secretary Leon Panetta officially lifted the ban on women serving in ground combat roles.

On Jan. 1, 2016, all branches of the military must either open all positions to women or request exceptions. That boils down to having women serve in combat roles, because any commander requesting exceptions would risk having his career terminated in the wake of the screeching and accusations of sexism that would surely ensue.

The U.S. Army has announced that for the first time, two female officers graduated from the exceptionally tough three-phase Ranger course.

Their “success” will serve as grist for the mills of those who argue for women in combat.

Unlike most of their fellow soldiers, these two women had to recycle because they had failed certain phases of the course.

 Jim Shempert One Million Dads

We all are capable of murder and worse because we are a fallen people.

– Jim Shempert

“We have an active shooter on campus.”  Those are terrible, frightening words for any parent to hear.  As a father, my heart breaks for the community of Roseburg, Oregon.  They join other communities where murder has claimed victims far before their time.  I pray for God’s comfort for that community.  I pray that God will reveal Himself to those broken hearted and in anguish and give them comfort.

That is the spiritual side of me.  I serve something larger than man, larger than the government, larger than the world.  I know things here are temporary.  I know that this world will soon pass away.  I know that we are all fallen, evil people, and that without the sacrifice of Jesus we are all lost.  Yet, the human side of me is angry.  I am angry at the shooter.  I am angry that he chose to kill people who he probably didn’t even know just to get some attention.  I am angry that he chose his victims based on their religion.  I am angry that he singled out Christians for murder.  I am angry that the president of this nation, in his usual dividing tone, chose to blame guns, instead of the real problem:  the sin nature of man.  I am angry, that the press will do everything they can, to cover up the fact that he singled out Christians.

This nation desperately needs a leader.  Not a petulant child running the country.  In times like this, our nation’s leader should call for support for the victim’s families.  They should fall on their faces and seek the face of God.  They should turn from their evil ways and beg forgiveness.  Unfortunately, the current resident of the White House seeks to turn this into a political sideshow.  The same president who wants to take guns away refuses to shut down a company that murders 3,000 babies a day.  He is not a leader.

The gun control question is one that is going to have to be addressed.  I am very pro-gun.  I conceal carry on a daily basis.  I have two mouths that depend on my paycheck to eat.  I will not allow those mouths to go hungry based on the actions of someone who has no respect for my life.  I am very safe with my guns.  I have never shot at anyone.  I’m not even that much of a hunter really.  Some of my guns have family attachments to them.  One is the only piece of my great-grandfather that I have.  One has not been fired since 1995 when my grandfather died. I have a few others.  One for hunting, a few for protection, and one just because I like it.  That does not make me a criminal no matter what the left says.

The problem with the gun control question is that it does not focus on the heart of the issue.  The gun control question comes down to the heart of the man/woman using the gun.  I could just as easily choose to kill you with a dinner fork as with a gun.  The tool is not the problem, the heart is.

Then the LORD said to Cain, “Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast?  If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.”  Now Cain said to his brother Abel, “Let’s go out to the field.”  While they were in the field, Cain attacked his brother Abel and killed him.  Then the LORD said to Cain, “Where is your brother Abel?” “I don’t know,” he replied. “Am I my brother’s keeper?” The LORD said, “What have you done? Listen! Your brother’s blood cries out to me from the ground (Genesis 4:6-10.)

For everyone who will read this, my wish is not to diminish the suffering of those who have been victims of evil people using guns.  My wish is for you to see that the gun problem is actually a heart problem, one which we all suffer from.

We all are capable of murder and worse because we are a fallen people.  Without the saving grace of Jesus Christ, we all fall victim to the destructive deeds of our flesh.

Luckily for us, we serve a Savior, who stretches His hands out to the hurting, and the sick, and the poor, and the wealthy, and the mighty with the same request:

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30).”

(Unless otherwise noted, the opinions expressed are the author’s and do not necessarily reflect the views of the American Family Association or American Family Radio.)

I had posted this at ONR on June 27, 2015, thinking I had also posted it here. This seems to have been forgotten, but is one of the dangers, along with the infiltration of Islamic influence within our country, which cannot be relegated to the “back burner”.  X

Before I proceed to the subject at hand, I must point out that mankind -such as it is- has continually forgotten to use the brain the Almighty has given us; and not jump in with both feet, thinking about the consequences afterward. The media incessantly bombards us with stuff that we retain whether we want to or not.  We have lots of useless or detrimental info /ideas they’ve “sold” us rattling around in our noggins.

As a prime example, I recall a television commercial for RCA back when I was ten years old. It was presented in the form of a cartoon. A man is walking down the street; looks to his left, in a (presumably business) window.  He stops short, then proceeding to look at us, the viewing audience,  breaks into this jingle:

“Wow !, I saw color TV; RCA Victor color TV.” “I know what I’ve been missing now, Wow!”  “Color T.V.!”……

This and countless other bits of effluent. Why should I remember “A whistle, a wink, and Wildroot”? or  “Brylcream; a little dab will do ya”…?  (Sadly, I could reiterate the entire jingle for that product as well.) It’s there, ingrained in my memory.

Multiply that by a factor of ten. We have subliminally recorded so much garbage, it’s downright disgusting.

Today, it’s not just the MSM, but Government who has kept ramming down our throats the idea that they know what’s good for us; selling the -subconscious- idea that we should let them do our thinking for us. They subtly – and not so subtly-, condition us to accept their actions as acceptable, normal, to be expected. Please wake the (omitted) up!

Now to the main entrée:

In a column written for The Texas Tribune; titled  UT/TT Poll: Texans Wary of Domestic Use of Military, Ross Ramsey comments that:

“Texas Gov. Greg Abbott was right to send the Texas State Guard to monitor U.S. military exercises here, and they consider federally ordered domestic military intervention likely under certain circumstances, according to the latest University of Texas/Texas Tribune Poll.”

He refers to Jade Helm 15 military exercises in Central Texas earlier this year.  The Governor had sent the Texas State Guard to monitor them:

“[A]fter particularly vocal activists expressed fears that what was being billed as an exercise was actually something far more sinister.”

““During the training operation, it is important that Texans know their safety, constitutional rights, private property rights and civil liberties will not be infringed,” the governor wrote in his letter to the Guard’s commander at the time.”

The column continues with comments obtained from Texas voters who were surveyed:

“Asked whether federal military intervention is likely in certain circumstances, large numbers said yes. A majority said military intervention is “very” or “somewhat” likely to arrest political protesters, and 50 percent said it is likely that the feds would send the military to violate citizens’ property rights. Smaller but significant numbers said the military would likely be used to impose martial law (44 percent) and to confiscate firearms from citizens (43 percent).”

“You put federal government into it and people’s skepticism and their concern really rises,” said Daron Shaw, co-director of the poll and a professor of government at UT-Austin. He noted that  “a substantial number of Democrats — 31 percent on the martial law question — believe federal military intervention is possible.”

“It cuts into everybody’s suspicion,” Shaw said. “Nobody trusts the federal government. About a third of Democrats are concerned about the government going nuts. Among Republicans, it’s between 55 percent and two-thirds.”

Well and good that they are suspicious. In the role of investigative reporters, without their protections under the law, we bloggers have to parse our statements with “alleged”, “presumed to be” and other legalese to head off any legal backlash; we have to double check sources for legitimacy, and accuracy.

Still, the expression that “If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck”…. (You get the idea)

Our founding fathers adamantly opposed domestic armies; our Bill of rights contained protections from abuses learned by breaking free of British rule.

Amendment III

No soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.

Amendment IV

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

[This fourth amendment trampled on after the Boston Marathon bombings, triggered a house to house search for the perpetrators…]

Amendment VI

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.

[Both the fourth and sixth shredded by NDAA…]

I submit here the sentiments of several of the founders, which are emphatic in their opposition to this kind of Government action:

“What, Sir, is the use of a militia? It is to prevent the establishment of a standing army, the bane of liberty…. Whenever Governments mean to invade the rights and liberties of the people, they always attempt to destroy the militia, in order to raise an army upon their ruins.”

(Rep. Elbridge Gerry of Massachusetts, spoken during floor debate over the Second Amendment [ I Annals of Congress at 750 {August 17, 1789}])

“…to disarm the people – that was the best and most effectual way to enslave them.”

(George Mason, 3 Elliot, Debates at 380)

“Americans have the right and advantage of being armed – unlike the citizens of other countries whose governments are afraid to trust the people with arms.”

(James Madison, The Federalist Papers #46 at 243-244)

“the ultimate authority … resides in the people alone,”

(James Madison, author of the Bill of Rights, in Federalist Paper #46.)

“Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed; as they are in almost every kingdom of Europe. The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword; because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any bands of regular troops that can be, on any pretense, raised in the United States”

(Noah Webster in `An Examination into the Leading Principles of the Federal Constitution’, 1787, a pamphlet aimed at swaying Pennsylvania toward ratification, in Paul Ford, ed., Pamphlets on the Constitution of the United States, at 56(New York, 1888))

And a solemn warning from one of my favorite historical figures, Winston Churchill:

“If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed;
if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may
come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.”― Winston Churchill
