Once again, my rage-level has gone beyond what is allowable, at least for me. Let’s start with the recent murders of the two New York City policemen. They were assassinated, and that’s the proper word, by a nut-job who had killing on his mind. He was black, he was a Muslim, and he was a nut-job and that seems to be the entrance requirements to Islam.
Now, don’t squirm in your seat and then decide to write me and tell me that “not all Muslimsï are nut-jobs, or that we’re “not at war with Islam” because I’ll have to disagree with you on both counts. Every report, so far, where acts of terror have been committed, or tried to be, have been done by followers of Islam, and in the name of Allah. Why else would they shout that phrase before they kill, either themselves or others?
This, now, is going to be my tag-line, because I truly believe that we are going to be in an armed conflict in this country. The Muslims are coming, the Muslims are coming! Paul Revere didn’t say that, but he sounded the alarm about the British, and I’m trying to do the same about the Muslims.
I recently received two pairs of lounging pants… that’s the bottom half of flannel pajamas in case you didn’t know. The giver was very proud that they were an American brand. Being a person that dislikes tags on things, I went to cut them off and discovered that this famous American brand was now made in China. Holy moley…don’t we make anything in this country anymore? That’s a rhetorical question because I know we do, and there are websites devoted to American-made products. Imagine that, having to look up a website to see what you can buy that’s still made in the US of A.
We use a lot of plastic storage containers, ostensibly from ”Betty Crocker”, a brand name owned by General Mills, but the containers which are stamped with the logo, are made in China. I own guns, Winchesters, Smith and Wessons, Colts…all the name brands, right? Recently I bought a gun, a carbine, that was an exact replica of a Winchester 1873 model, and found out it was made in Brazil. Say…didn’t we give them a couple of billion a few years back, to develop their oil industry? And didn’t they turn around and sell the stuff to everybody but us…but I could be wrong on that.
Both the Winchester Super X2 and the newer Super X3 are made in Belgium, with additional assembly work done in Portugal. Since the mid 1990’s all Winchester historic lever actions (formerly called Limited Editions) have been made at this same factory. This includes the rifles listed here…Historic Winchesters: Model 1885 Single Shot, Model 1886 lever action, Model 1892 lever action, Model 1895 lever action, Model 1873 lever action. These “Historical Winchesters” are back in production today after being absent from the market for many decades. All are in production today. All are made in Japan.
The Chrysler 300 isn’t “Imported from Detroit,” as the tagline on its TV ad implies. It’s made in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, with, in some models, an engine from Mexico. Likewise, a radio ad calling the Ford Fusion an American-made car isn’t so all-American after all. Fusions are built in Mexico.
Although manufactured in the United States, the Jeep is a collaborative effort of companies from several different countries. The chassis shop is managed by a Korean company, the body shop is run by a German firm, and a Canadian-Austrian business oversees the paint. Ultimately, however, Jeep is an American car owned by Chrysler which is owned by Fiat of Italy.
Chevrolet cars have been rolling off the assembly line since 1911. The Bogota plant, in Bogota, Colombia, and the Daewoo Incheon Motor company plant in Incheon, South Korea build the Chevrolet Aveo hatchback and sedan. The CAMI Automotive plant in Ingersoll, Ontario, Canada builds the Chevrolet Equinox. Oshawa Car Assembly in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada is where the Chevrolet Impala is produced, as well as the Camaro…and we could go on and on, but you get the picture.
Made in America…are you sure about that?
The irony in this is that we are a nation that made these things first, and we made them better than anybody else. Now we outsource everything and I blame that on two things; greed and taxes…well, now that I think about it you can roll taxes into greed and that answers the question entirely.
When are we going to put this country back to work, and back on its feet? That answer is also simple…when you get the foreigner in the White House out of there…oh wait, when you say foreigner you have to be specific, because there’s so many of them in this administration. Even the President was not …made in America…

This idiocy has been going on as long as I can remember… While it wouldn’t even begin to register against the size of our national debt, and the steers in Congress just gave the Dems over 1 trillion, it still shows exactly how much we need to remove these leeches from office. “X” From Darla Dawald:
Ever wonder how we got into this mess and what it will take to get us out of debt? For starters, why are we funding these ridiculous programs and why is it that NO ONE is crying FOUL in Congress? These are some of the things that we must bring to the attention of of our new Congress and Senate in 2015 to address!
Yes, thanks to your tax dollars, wasteful programs (including ones like the $237,205 study that measures how rainfall affects red crabs) were funded with government money.
This infographic breaks down seven of those projects.
According to the Heritage Foundation:
In 2014, federal spending reached $3.5 trillion and the deficit was $486 billion. Compared with trillion-dollar deficits following the Great Recession, this presents a small and temporary improvement in the nation’s fiscal situation. However, this minor improvement does not mean that government can stop cutting back on spending. As the figures and graphics in this report show, that would be the wrong conclusion to draw.
The national debt will still reach nearly $18 trillion this year and it already exceeds 100 percent of gross domestic product (GDP). Publicly held debt (that is, debt borrowed in credit markets, excluding Social Security’s trust fund), is alarmingly high at three-quarters of GDP. Without further spending reforms, rising debt threatens to impede growth, harm Americans’ economic opportunities, and even threaten the nation’s security.
Deficits fell in 2014 because President Obama and Congress raised taxes on all working Americans, the economy saw some improvement which helped to bring in more revenue, extended unemployment benefits were allowed to expire, and spending cuts from sequestration and spending caps under the Budget Control Act of 2011 took effect.
Congress should not take this short-term and modest deficit improvement as a signal to grow complacent about reining in exploding spending. Existing spending cuts and tax increases will not prevent deficits from rising next year, and before the end of the decade exceeding $1 trillion again. Driving this is federal spending, which is projected to grow by 66 percent by 2024.
The nation’s long-term spending trajectory remains on a fiscal collision course. Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and Obamacare are too large and growing rapidly. While the Budget Control Act of 2011 and sequestration are modestly restraining the discretionary budget, mandatory spending—including entitlements—continues to grow nearly unabated. Eighty-five percent of the projected growth in spending over the next decade is due to entitlement spending and interest on the debt. Obamacare is the largest driver of increasing federal health care spending, and it alone will add $1.8 trillion in federal spending by 2024.
While mandatory spending is growing out of control and needs reform, there are also plenty of items to cut in the rest of the budget. For example, the National Institutes of Health spent $387,000 to study the effects of Swedish massage on rabbits, and according to a report from the Government Accountability Office, duplication of federal programs and services could cost taxpayers $45 billion annually.
Lawmakers should eliminate waste, duplication, and inappropriate spending; privatize functions better left to the private sector; and leave areas best managed on a more local level to states and localities. Most important, Congress should reform the entitlement programs so that they become more affordable and benefit those with the greatest need.
In 1965, defense spending was 7.2 percent of GDP and mandatory spending on entitlement programs and net interest was 5.7 percent of GDP, one-third lower.
In 2014, spending on defense is 3.5 percent of GDP, or less than half of what it was in 1965, and falling, while mandatory spending (including net interest) is reaching 14.3 percent of GDP and growing.
Total annual spending will increase by $2.3 trillion in nominal terms, growing from $3.5 trillion in 2014 to $5.8 trillion in 2024.
Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid make up 77 percent, or more than three-fourths, of mandatory program spending in 2014 and have no budget limits.
Discretionary spending, the part of the budget that Congress budgets each year, will increase by 29 percent over 10 years, but only if lawmakers enforce sequestration.
Discretionary spending as a share of the budget will fall from two-thirds in 1964 to less than one-quarter in 2024, as entitlements grow uncontrolled.
Mandatory spending will grow from one-quarter of the budget in 1965 to 63 percent by 2024. When net interest is added, this spending would consume three-fourths of the budget.
It’s WAY PAST TIME for some Congressional Oversight!
Years ago, I lost a good friend; he had a heart attack while golfing. This Cancer is taking yet another vacation in Hawaii, and plans to go golfing there. Hmmm… Please, God.
From PATRIOT UPDATE:
Obama Orchestrating Regime Change in Israel
Monday, December 15, 2014
President Obama’s toxic foreign policy consists mainly of placating America’s adversaries and manipulating our friends (that and combatting the imminent threat of global warming with a one-sided American policy of economic seppuku). Now we are learning of Obama’s latest reach into what has always been the ken of agencies like the CIA: regime change. Only this isn’t to topple Communism in Central America or extremists in Tehran. It’s to overthrow Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu in our middle-east ally Israel.
Aaron Klein wrote in the Jerusalem Post,
The White House has singled out Netanyahu as standing in the way of Obama’s utopian vision for a new Middle East and Persian Gulf. What better way to bypass this obstacle than aiding in Netanyahu’s removal from office?
Last week, Netanyahu’s fragile coalition finally fractured, with both Finance Minister Yair Lapid and Justice Minister Tzipi Livni, dismissed, and Netanyahu’s dissolving of the Knesset (Israeli parliament) with new elections to be scheduled. This will be Netanyahu’s greatest internal challenge, and Klein contents that it was in no small part brought about by the Obama administration’s meddling in Israeli politics.
His points are convincing.
Last October, Netanyahu’s Defense Minister Ya’alon was denied a meeting with Vice President Joe Biden, Secretary of State Sen. John Kerry (D-MA)0%, and National Security Adviser (and national stunt double) Susan rice during his visit to Washington. This basically never happens.
Ha’aretz reported that prior to a meeting between Obama and Netanyahu last October, a classified discussion was held “about possibly taking more proactive measures against the “settlements,” including mulling sanctions or punishing Israel at the United Nations.”
Following the meeting, both the State Department and the White House released almost identical statements condemning new construction in East Jerusalem. Netanyahu’s political adversaries jumped right in, as if on cue, criticizing him in Israel.
Jeffrey Goldberg’s hit-piece in October described senior Obama officials as calling Netanyahu a “chickenshit” on the Palestinian peace process. This was framed as a crisis in The Atlantic article, and also by Israeli Finance Minister Yair Lapid, a Netanyahu opponent who is part of the now-sunk coalition.
The only “refugees” the US should be bringing in are Christians and other religious minorities who are being oppressed, ethnically cleansed and murdered in Syria, Iraq and other Muslim countries under Islamic rule.
But Obama has long abandoned religious minorities under Islamic rule.
Instead, Obama continues to import jihad. The consequences of Muslim immigration on free societies is ruinous.
The UN decides who is a “refugee” under the “Refugee Resettlement Program.” UNHCR decides, and the UN is driven by the largest world body — the OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation), whose goal is to impose Islam across the world. And they are doing it — with money, media, men and ….. Obama.
This is more than just another of those moments that warily conservatives point to when President Barack Obama or his defenders insist that no administration has operated stricter border controls or pursued more deportations of illegal immigrants. This is criminal.
According to a damning report in The New York Times, the White House recently overturned a ban on allowing a wealthy Ecuadorean woman from entering the United States after her family donated tens of thousands of dollars to Democrats.
“The woman, Estefanía Isaías, had been barred from coming to the United States after being caught fraudulently obtaining visas for her maids,” The Times reported. “But the ban was lifted at the request of the State Department under former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton so that Ms. Isaías could work for an Obama fund-raiser with close ties to the administration.”
