Stewart Slams Obama Again: You Can’t Keep Saying You Found  Out About News At The Same Time As Us!

Jon Stewart tonight targeted President Obama for his reactions to major  administration scandals in the past week and how every time there’s a big news  item involving his administration, Obama always seems to have found out about  the news at the same time as the rest of the public did. Stewart found it odd  that Obama wouldn’t have found out about IRS targeting Tea Party groups or the  Justice Department seizing journalists’ phone records from, say, people inside  the government instead.

Stewart noted how at Obama’s big press conference on Monday, there was a  “question limit of one, total, from the entire American press corps,” but a  reporter smartly exploited a loophole by asking four questions in the same  question. Obama began his answer explaining that he learned about IRS targeting  in the same news reports that the rest of the public found out about from.

Stewart mocked the blasé manner in which Obama answered the question, and  pointed out that this is not the first time Obama has claimed to find out news  at the same time as the rest of us. Stewart highlighted how Obama said the same  thing about the Fast & Furious ATF gun-running scandal and the time when a  low-flying plane freaked out everyone in New York City. And Jay Carney admitted  that’s the same way Obama found out about the Justice Department seizing AP  phone records.

Stewart quipped, “I wouldn’t be surprised if President Obama learned Osama  bin Laden had been killed when he saw himself announce it on television.”

Stewart Destroys Obama Over IRS Scandal, “You’ve Vindicated Conspiracy Theorists”

Well, well… Liberal Jon Stewart loses it and attacks the IRS and Obama? What did he do, dust off his conscience? He still ignores the facts coming out of Benghazi, and blatantly acts as if the current regime wouldn’t register, then try to confiscate guns; in spite of their wanting a registry being public knowledge. However, this is good – Hard to believe they actually aired this rant.  Get out the popcorn and watch this video. That’s Entertainment!

 Occasionally, I get e-mail from CREDO; (also from Schumer) to keep tabs on the left. I seldom am motivated to post these, but in view of the critical nature of the upcoming elections, I wanted to allow all – who are financially able- to back up conservative candidates. Michele Bachmann, among others, needs to be able to crush the opposition! 

 

It’s official: Last week, political forecaster Charlie Cook moved Michele Bachmann’s race from Likely Republican to Lean Republican.

That means Bachmann is vulnerable. And she is not alone.

Every one of our races is competitive going into these final weeks. Every one.

Homeland Security Releases List of Keywords That Cheese Them Off

Let me just get this out of the way right now.

China gangs burn pork on Amtrak while San Diego SWAT busts ice pirates at Target.

Everybody say hello to the nice agents at Homeland Security who are watching us now that I’ve used at least 11 of the keywords they look for on the Internet.

It took a Freedom of Information Act request and a lawsuit by the Electronic Privacy Information Center to get it, but Homeland Security has released its supposedly complete list of words that set off bells in the top secret caves of the DHS.

Among the obvious ones like Al Qaeda, terrorism and nuclear are some oddities like agriculture, incident, smart, Metro, snow and social media.

The keywords are included in the DHS’s Analyst’s Desktop Binder, which also instructs analysts to hunt down media reports that reflect poorly on the department.

It doesn’t include the keyword list used by Obama’s gang of plumbers who troll the Net for negative stories, or the NSA, which represents a whole different set of eyes that are watching you.

I suspect the list released by DHS may be incomplete, however, given Janet Napolitano’s known contempt of conservative groups and the lack of conservative buzz words on the list. It was shortly after Obama entered office that Napolitano’s DHS issued a report lumping the Tea Party and other conservative groups with the KKK, Nazis and al Qaeda.

The release of the list just proves what conservatives have said and liberals denied for years: Big Brother is here, and he is watching.

Washington Can’t Ignore the Tea Party

As you know, the Senate has failed to pass a budget resolution for three years running. Now they won’t even let the American people do the job for them.

This afternoon, 200 FreedomWorks members and representatives from tea party groups across the country met in the Russell Senate Office building to formally present our plan to balance the federal budget and cut $9.7 trillion in spending over the next 10 years. Unfortunately, it seems like the only thing Washington wants to hear is excuses.

The Democrats who run the Senate Rules Committee were so afraid of the tea party plan to balance the federal budget that they ordered committee staff to remove the microphones we had set up for the event while Capitol Police blocked the doors of our hearing room, which had been reserved by Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) specifically for this event more than two weeks ago. At the same time, a “suspicious package” was reported in the room next door and all visitors and staff were barred from the area.

Although Senator Lee courageously stood up for us, he ultimately determined that the hearing should proceed without further interruption or harassment. For that reason we moved to another location off the Capitol grounds where our commission of 12 volunteer tea party activists presented their recommendations to a fired-up crowd.

Senator Lee was also joined there by Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), Reps. Joe Walsh (R-IL), Steve King (R-IA), Mike Pence (R-IN), Mick Mulvaney (R-SC) and Paul Broun (R-GA). Rep. Broun received a standing ovation when he offered to help draft and sponsor legislation that could eventually allow our recommended cuts to become law.

Moving rapidly towards 2012, when America will choose its course for this generation and the next, Walsh tells Brent that the liberal media “are vested in protecting” President Obama.

Walsh said he expects attacks by the liberal media against conservatives and the Tea Party will “be personal [because] they have a lot at stake. If the whole Tea Party movement succeeds, the media is in a lot of trouble, so they are going to try and stop us.”

 

This has got to be our line in the sand. We cannot allow the media to marginalize Tea Party Americans and conservatives as a far-right fringe — as poor, uneducated, and easy to command.
