Earlier this week, Jordan reported to you on the latest attempts by atheists to rewrite history by removing every aspect of our religious heritage and what we’re doing to stop them.

It occurred to us that while so many people have been working to rewrite our history, we have been making history with precedent-setting victories time and again for over two decades — defending our liberties before the Supreme Court of the United States, and every day in local communities here at home and around the world.
My family and I have dedicated our lives to this fight, and I want to personally share with you why. I sat down with our video team and shared stories about my grandfather, my family, and how the grandson of an immigrant ended up standing before the Supreme Court of the United States defending the rights that my grandfather came here to experience. From fighting to ensure that public school students are allowed to participate in Bible Clubs and other religious activities on campus, to defending the rights of the unborn and those who stand up for the pro-life cause from being silenced, to protecting the right to display the Ten Commandments and other symbols of our religious heritage on public land, the ACLJ has been on the front lines defending life, faith, and freedom.
This is not just my story; it is the story of all our clients – real people – whose lives have been impacted for good through our diligent defense of liberty and, when necessary, aggressive litigation. Another new resource that will help you get an in-depth understanding of not just the history of the ACLJ, but how the ACLJ has been continually making history, is our new interactive timeline of the ACLJ’s record of achievement.
This timeline isn’t just a listing of our accomplishments but a multimedia experience with videos and news stories shot at the time of these cases, courtroom drawings, and audio of each of the twelve oral arguments we have presented before the U.S. Supreme Court.
In Mergens, we successfully defended the right of public school students to participate in Bible Clubs. In Bray and Operation Rescue, we ensured that our pro-life clients would be free from criminal prosecution for merely communicating their pro-life message. In Lamb’s Chapel, we secured the right of churches to utilize public facilities in the same way other organizations could – a decision that we continue to rely on to this day in defending churches. So many other ground-breaking cases continue to have a lasting impact on our freedoms today.
You will also learn how the ACLJ came to be formed, major moments in our history – from the first episode of Jay Sekulow Live! to God’s provision for our expansion around the world – and our extensive work before the Supreme Court.
Take a moment, to look back at what we have accomplished together t…
