Titled “Hungry Beast – Google Is Me” Uploaded on Oct 21, 2009
At the time this was uploaded, most comments were scoffers, or jokers. The general attitude? One commenter -
( I Edited) Err, guys… what makes you think that you’re so important? Seriously, besides obvious friends and family, who should give a flying f*** about you? You’re just one of millions of random schmucks on the internet. To Google, at most you’re a person who can be advertised certain products… I like video games and electronic entertainment… so I’ll probably get advertisements for video games and not something random like airline tickets.
Google isn’t Skynet, it’s the f*****g phonebook.
One commenter realized the gravity of this digital capturing:
The problem isn’t what information is stored, it’s who has access to it. Information stored about you now by Google could theoretically be recalled years from now by an employer or a state institution. Stupid but harmless things you’ve done that may not seem important now could be used against you in future.
