The-End-Times-460x474Fellow bloggers; as we watch more and more evidence of these last times coming to their inevitable fruition, I have become aware of another factor in regard to the “sorrows” (Matthew 24: 8 and cross referenced in Mark 13:8).

While quite young, I observed a massive shift in social mores from 1958 to 1963.  From ankle length dresses to mini skirts, the first commercial birth control pills, an uptick in violence as entertainment,  (the list goes on and on) quantum leaps forward in technology enabling a level of weaponry and communication thought to be “Buck Rogers” stuff to the “Greatest Generation”.

Now, each category of the evils has entered a second phase; from their first manifestations, they are developing into “adulthood” instead of their adolescent stage. One example; Obamas “safe schools” czar, now thankfully deposed, hasn’t stopped the grievous efforts to pervert our youth right down to kindergarten. This post by one million moms, is self explanatory.

The Secret is Out – VS is After Young Girls

April 2, 2013

Controversy is nothing new for Victoria’s Secret. One Million Moms has alerted parents concerning their televised fashion show so families can avoid the network during the times it airs. Parents also avoid certain parts of malls so their families will not be subjected to the soft porn displayed in the storefront windows of Victoria’s Secret. Now Victoria’s Secret has gone too far.

Victoria’s Secret is currently targeting teens with a lingerie line called “Bright Young Things,” part of their Pink collection. The line has an array of panties, from a lace trimmed thong with “Call Me” or “I DARE YOU” on the front, to underwear with the word “Wild” on it and green-and-white polka-dot hipsters reading “Feeling Lucky?” on the back.

Victoria’s Secret’s new teen-themed undies line sexualizes young girls. Shame on them! Victoria’s Secret has been trying for years -and succeeding- to persuade younger and younger girls to purchase their sexy line of clothing.

Despite the argument that they only market to eighteen-years-old and up… we know better. Stuart Burgdoerfer, CFO Limited Brands (Parent Company of Victoria’s Secret), said, “They want to be older, and they want to be cool like the girl in college, and that’s part of the magic.” If this disgusts you, please let Victoria’s Secret know!

The unthinkable has become almost passé, being replaced by more blatant and defiant assaults on what is right and just.

I recently added “nanotechnology” to my category tabs. This represents another leap into what would have been considered part of the “25th century” by our parents.

Combined with the across-the-board gains in biotechnology and genetics, Islamic demographics, the globalist mindset, and (sadly) a pseudo Christian, apostate America, our redemption is much nearer than I’d have thought just thirty years ago.  I was recently reminded of Ephesians 6:10-20 by Citizen Tom:

The Whole Armor of God

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,[a] against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— 19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

One of the rare times I chose to use the New King James version instead of the King James version for clarity.

I don’t find essays easy, or putting down detailed opinions, nor do I make statements lightly;  having to start over almost caused me to forget the whole thing altogether.  I suspect that  themadjewess and I have much in common.  Her comment in Barb’s blog “he holds my hand” is not lost on me. My response to her would be   Luke 12:4-5  King James Version (KJV)   4And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.5But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

This verse would come to mind every time I saw someone walking around with the -then obnoxiously frequent-  ”No Fear” t shirts on.

Whatever your affiliation, regardless of what I call “corporate religion” the Bible is the bottom line.
This is NOT negotiable.  My Catholic christian allys would do well to realize  Biblical directives, to be gleaned from His word, especially considering the need to “test the spirits” in these times.  EVEN FROM THE PULPIT.
Christ’s biggest antagonists were the religious leaders; those who were supposed to represent Him. It was the Sanhedrin, not Jews at large who sought his crucifiction.  Otherwise intelligent people, instead of remembering that God’s grace and love are predicated on His HOLINESS, think he’ll look the other way when sin is present.  Our country is setting itself up for judgment. We haven’t seen anything YET.  BARB: Matt 24:21-34 we will be spared via the rapture. [the elect]

IMHO: Israel’s birth =  Ezekiel 36:22-24 fulfilled; started the clock ticking on “this generation shall not pass”

22Therefore say unto the house of Israel, thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name’s sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.

23And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

24For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.

Satellite technology has enabled this prophecy:

Matthew 24:14    King James Version (KJV)

14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Apostacy, is the only thing that has to be fulfulled, “a falling away first”. That is now occurring.

I am NOT ashamed of the Gosple of Christ. I am NOT ashamed of my heritage.  It was decided by God before I was conceived. [Due to the state of this world, I considered it "Need to Know", not for general knowledge]

This is Boot Camp, not a joyride. God’s rules, -Corporate religion be damned- when I go before the Judgment seat, and any righteousness I have is God the Father seeing me through through Jesus, by his sacrifice I’m pardoned, I go there as a Jew. The bloodline is passed down via the MOTHER. Anyone out there who was a product of a Jewess marrying a Gentile, should know this. I realize that in the coming kingdom He states there is neither Jew nor Gentile; however, these are His rules, not anything I made up.

Due to the little interlude known as WWII, A Jewess met, and married a redneck from the heartland. This improbable match, produced me.  Her frustration at “This religion that makes such a mockery of my people”… (paraphrased,  it was to long ago to remember her exact words) caused her to start reading the Bible.

Upshot – NO thanks to Gentile Ministers, or purported Christians, God’s word was sufficient; she ran right into Messiah, and was saved.

It is reason enough that I’ve referenced Romans 11-entire chapter- in defiance of the tares who are misguided enough to think they have any audience with Christ, but hate the Jews. She endured much with stuffy, haughty, self assured (omitted to be civil) in the Baptist congregation I was brought to each Sunday.

She taught me phonetics at the age of four. By six, I was reading the newspaper with no problems. Attending sunday school was irritating to me; It was when joining the adults for the main service that I found value coming from the pulpit. That and the scripture which greeted me when entering; placed above the far set of doors: “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” This was an  “eyes wide open” experience.  The Pastor was a bit like Hagee, having a timeline, and expounding on end times prophecies.

God’s decision as to when “and then shall the end come”.

With our decayed, apostate, -if we’re 80 % christian, how could 3% perverts and malcontents dictate terms in policy, and trying to poison our children?-  country, 2012 might be the start of the real crisis which ushers in the final curtain call.

 ’Nuff said. “X”

About half of all the pastors in America’s churches today do not want to tell their congregations that there are forces in the world that persecute Christians for their beliefs, because it’s a “downer,” according to the results of a startling new poll.

The Barna Research Associates survey, commissioned by Open Doors USA, says a significant majority of American Christians, some three out of four, want to hear about the persecuted church.

But the same study showed that 52 percent of America’s pastors don’t want to talk about persecution and have no plans to talk about it.

In the nationwide poll of more than 800 Christians, 74 percent of America’s churchgoers want to hear about the persecuted church.

But the same survey said only 48 percent of the pastors want to discuss the issue.

See the plight of the persecuted, in “A Cry From Iran: The Untold Story of Iranian Christian Martyrs”

Open Doors President Carl Moeller says the survey shows that American Christians are not isolationists.

“Much of what we’ve been hearing from people and in my experience of speaking with people all over the country would indicate that American Christians really want to know what’s happening to their brothers and sisters in Christ all around the world, particularly those that are suffering for their faith in Christ,” Moeller said.

Moeller said that perception led him to commission the study.

“And so, we did a survey with Barna that was two parts. The first part was asking pastors when they think they might preach on persecution or the suffering church around the world,” Moeller said.

“We had several options there, but 48 percent said they weren’t ever planning on preaching about persecuted Christians. Some said they would be preaching on it sometime in the future and a few said they preach on it regularly,” Moeller said.

“That 48 percent kind of stuck with me. ‘Wow, 48 percent never plan to talk about the persecuted church,” Moeller said.

Moeller said the story was different in part two of the study.

“Seventy-four percent of American Christians who go to church regularly said they would like to hear sermons from time-to-time on the suffering church or persecuted Christians,” Moeller said.

“That was a huge gap, we thought. Almost half of the pastors in American were never planning on preaching on something but three-quarters, almost three-quarters of their congregations want to hear on it regularly,” Moeller said.

“We thought that that was worthy of reporting back to the American press and to the American church, pastors in particular,” he said.

“People are really hungry; they want to know, they want to pray. They want to do something, speak out, take action, on behalf of suffering Christians wherever they can,” Moeller said.

Christian human rights group International Christian Concern’s Middle East Area Specialist Aidan Clay believes the problem comes from the pulpits.

“The persecuted church reminds us that the decision to follow Christ is all or nothing,” Clay said. “It reminds us that Jesus promises persecution in the Scriptures and that the Christian life was not intended to be easy.”

Clay said the reality about Christian persecution isn’t popular.

“That’s a difficult teaching to swallow in some American churches today that are centered on self-improvement and feel-good sermons. And, perhaps pastors fear that the topic of Christian persecution will drive complacent Christians or those who are unsure what they believe out of the church,” Clay said.

Clay said he’s pleasantly surprised that the message of persecution has a solid impact on American Christians.

“However, I’ve learned when speaking to Western Christians that the opposite is true. Upon hearing the stories of the persecuted, Western Christians are enlivened, driven to prayer, and begin seeking ways to assist and raise awareness,” Clay said.

“Even complacent Christians often find greater purpose when awakened to the harsh realities Christians face in other parts of the world. We are strengthened and encouraged when hearing the stories of Christians who remain joyful and continue to trust God after being imprisoned or even tortured for following Jesus,” Clay said.

Moeller agreed, saying that sometimes persecution stories bring out the best in American churches.

“Persecution teaches us what the global church, the suffering church, has learned that maybe we’ve forgotten. I think that maybe there’s a disconnect in this way,” Moeller said.

“When we speak about persecution, the initial perspective that Americans have is that it’s a horrible message of suffering and destruction. The straight fact of the matter is that it’s actually a story of inspirational courage and fortitude and faith,” he said.

“There’s great inspiration that comes from being exposed to what the suffering church is going through. So if I can put it this way: I think American pastors are still hoping to mobilize their congregations to a level of engagement with the Gospel,” Moeller said.

“But they have forgotten that we can be inspired, not just by clever stories about our neighborhood evangelism which can give us techniques in how to share our faith, but we can be inspired by the big story of Christ’s church expanding,” Moeller said.

“It’s an epic story that can inspire the church to reach out,” Moeller said.

Moeller added that the story of the persecuted church can teach the American church something that many other lessons cannot.

“Just because people are concerned about their own personal lives doesn’t mean that they can’t draw strength and encouragement from those that are going through suffering,” Moeller said.

“I like to refer to my mom who said a very wise thing to me one time. She said, ‘Carl, experience is not the best teacher. Someone else’s experience is the best teacher,” Moeller said.

“In many ways, the American church is longing for the kind of personal purpose and satisfaction that comes from being deeply connected to God’s plan for the world,” Moeller said.

“They (American Christians) are finding a deep hunger to be connected to deep things for their own personal benefit, to grow in their faith by being inspired by the suffering church,” Moeller said.

“I think once people understand that there are Christians who are standing firm, they want to know, ‘How can I also stand firm in the struggles in my life,’” Moeller said.

Clay said that some Christians even gain comfort from the stories of persecuted believers.

“And, there is great comfort in knowing that we are not alone, but part of the same church that was built and has endured because of the trials, sufferings and perseverance of faithful men and women before us who never gave up despite the cost,” Clay said.

“Those are the footsteps that we follow. When hearing about the devotion of today’s persecuted Christians, we are motivated to honor their sacrifices by living out our own faith purposefully in obedience to Scripture,” Clay said.
